A Restart

I'm writing almost after a year, and have decided to write something as often as possible from now on. Fingers crossed to that. Lollz.

After getting addicted with Facebook, my recent addiction is Pinterest. I have some odd 14 boards on various topics right from Fashion, food to tattoos and Home decor, in short all the things that interests me. So here are some links to my boards in Pinterest (Luckily and happily I have a few followers there too.. Steadily trying to gather more.) Sharing with you some links to my pin boards..

And yet again, It's that time of the year...

Waking up early in the morning, switching the TV on, tuning to Star Movies, this time with my husband by my side, the most awaited event of the year, watching the stars bagging the golden knight one after the other,  the 'OSCARS 2014' are here.

The enthusiastic me, looking out for the best dressed lady in the most beguiling dresses, labelled under star designers, the scene itself is just exciting as watching a blockbuster movie. And so finally here it is, picking the best few in the long line of beauties that adorned the Oscars this year, won people's heart by their exceptional work as well as overwhelming beauties...

To start off with, the cool Ellen DeGeneres, the anchor person of the Oscars this year, looked stunning in the svelte suits and hilarious with her comic sense...
Lupita Nyongo in a Prada princess dress looked just adorable.. She bagged the Best Supporting Actress for 12 years a Slave.. "live your dream, it doesn't matter where you come from..." quoted the Kenyan Actress as she thanked her family, crew and friends who supported her while receiving the award...
Olga wore a dress dessigned by Alice Elia, a student who won in this year's, Red Carpet Green Dress competition in Berlin.

Naomi Watts looked serenely pretty in a Calvin Klein ice beaded cap sleeved dress and spider's web Bulgari necklace

Jennifer Lawrence sizzled in a tomato-red peplum-waited Dior. She teamed it with
Brian Atwood shoes...

Cate Blanchett in Armani Prive
Kate Hudson in her chic beaded Versace

Emma Watson in metallic and black Vera Wang...

The ones who did not impress the style critics this year were (as appeared in Indian Express):

Topping the list is Anne Hathaway in a Gucci Armour Dress..

Julia Roberts in a sombre black dress (P.S. couldn't find the designer)

Lady gaga in a metallic and pink Versace gown with a chiffon scarf...

Mesmerizing Penelope in a not-so-mesmerizing Giambattista Valli gown.

                      to name a few..... :)

Do you remember what was your favourite subject in school? I bet you do. Maths, Science, Social studies, English, even Moral Science for a few (cause it was the easiest of all). But I was always very enthusiastic when it came to the Art & Crafts class. Stitching, embroidery, crafting, pot painting etc were some of my favourites for two reasons: First, I consider creating things very interesting, & secondly, it was a good excuse to skip studies ;). But after school I hardly got enough time from studies and examinations to pursue this hobby of mine full-time.

So, I'm starting off with these simple Ribbon-embroidery, learnt from YouTube, tried and done...

More coming on the way....

The Louboutin Fantasy

Ever wondered how Cinderella's shoes looked like!!! We have heard the story of rags-to-riches, lived in the dream of meeting the Prince who would one day find the shoe that would fit the foot, and everything will be happily ever-after. But as time went by Cinderella is now growing old enough to buy her own pair of magical shoes, facilitated by the online forums. And the search is pretty simple, just type the name that you want to adore and pamper your feet in and click. Voila!! You are there, rummaging in the serene beauty of the perfect pair of shoes that your heart ached for.

Hence in this Cinderella shoe-search, I stumbled upon the the magical kingdom of Christian Louboutin. Having seen it worn by the stars and starlets on screen, worshiped the names of these Fashion deities (Louboutin, Jimmy Choo, Vera Wang, Marchesa) in the series Gossip Girl, I finally entered the kingdom with the magical key called Google and my heart filled with eternal joy, that I decided to share the precious Louboutin's collection that pleased my eyes and heart. And now I yearn for thee... Hoping to find you in this lifetime or like star-crossed lovers will wait for the next... ;)

The dream affair continued....

And to go with the shoes Cinderella will definitely need some chic cluthes, so match-it-up and kick the high road....

P.S: All the items above are kept with a stagerring price tag starting 40-50 grands and above, so the title Fantasy... ;P... for more please visit Louboutin's official site.
