Do you remember what was your favourite subject in school? I bet you do. Maths, Science, Social studies, English, even Moral Science for a few (cause it was the easiest of all). But I was always very enthusiastic when it came to the Art & Crafts class. Stitching, embroidery, crafting, pot painting etc were some of my favourites for two reasons: First, I consider creating things very interesting, & secondly, it was a good excuse to skip studies ;). But after school I hardly got enough time from studies and examinations to pursue this hobby of mine full-time.

So, I'm starting off with these simple Ribbon-embroidery, learnt from YouTube, tried and done...

More coming on the way....

The Louboutin Fantasy

Ever wondered how Cinderella's shoes looked like!!! We have heard the story of rags-to-riches, lived in the dream of meeting the Prince who would one day find the shoe that would fit the foot, and everything will be happily ever-after. But as time went by Cinderella is now growing old enough to buy her own pair of magical shoes, facilitated by the online forums. And the search is pretty simple, just type the name that you want to adore and pamper your feet in and click. Voila!! You are there, rummaging in the serene beauty of the perfect pair of shoes that your heart ached for.

Hence in this Cinderella shoe-search, I stumbled upon the the magical kingdom of Christian Louboutin. Having seen it worn by the stars and starlets on screen, worshiped the names of these Fashion deities (Louboutin, Jimmy Choo, Vera Wang, Marchesa) in the series Gossip Girl, I finally entered the kingdom with the magical key called Google and my heart filled with eternal joy, that I decided to share the precious Louboutin's collection that pleased my eyes and heart. And now I yearn for thee... Hoping to find you in this lifetime or like star-crossed lovers will wait for the next... ;)

The dream affair continued....

And to go with the shoes Cinderella will definitely need some chic cluthes, so match-it-up and kick the high road....

P.S: All the items above are kept with a stagerring price tag starting 40-50 grands and above, so the title Fantasy... ;P... for more please visit Louboutin's official site.

Zero Dark Thirty

"The story of history's greatest manhunt for the world's most dangerous man".. truly indeed. Directed by Katherine Bigelow, the film engages its audience from the start till the credits at the end. The power packed performance of the lead protagonist Maya (played by Jessica Chastain), along with the strong dialogues gives an adrenaline rush to the viewers.

Osama Bin Laden, a man and a topic talked upon, feared and finally conquered is shown in an aspect which makes this movie an engaging suspense thriller. The entire search operation, tortures and killings well researched is well portrayed. And to top it all a female protagonist leading the search for the most dreaded villain of the 21st century leaves the female lot feeling superior and fearless. Exclusion of unnecessary action in the screenplay make it a well written and neat one and directly hits the audiences mind.

The most captivating element of the movie was indeed the sound-editing (completely justifies the Oscar). It adds to even the surprise elements present in the film, especially in the part when Jessica (played by Jennifer Ehle) waits for her source to meet in the Cia Black Site and a suicide bomber arrives bombing the entire place literally made me jump out of my seat.

Not an absolute fan of action movies, but Zero Dark Thirty shares the space with MI4 for the power packed action movie list of mine!!! I'm definitely a fan now!!
